Network Security
CubeTree employs multiple types of network security. All traffic from users to the CubeTree system uses HTTPS. Our servers are protected by a Cisco firewall. And all administration is performed over a VPN.
Server Security
Our servers are built using a proven stack of open source software. The servers are physically located at a secure Rackspace data center. Each server runs several types of security software.
Security Certifications
We believe that one of the best ways to assure customers of our commitment to building a secure software service is to get third parties to validate our claims.
CubeTree has completed the SalesForce.com AppExchange Security Certification.
Industry leader WhiteHat Security monitors CubeTree 24/7 to ensure we maintain the highest level of security.
CubeTree is also pursuing additional security certifications that will be announced later in the year.
Development Process
In order to build a secure software service, it is critical that security is part of your standard software development practice. This includes everything from monitoring the latest security advisories to having developers go through training on how to develop secure software to having the right testing tools and practices in place.
