CubeTree provides a host of features for your company's CubeTree administrator.
By default, your company’s CubeTree network allows users from the domain and sub-domains of the first user who registers from your company. Administrators can add additional domain names to be part of the same CubeTree instance. This is useful if your company has multiple divisions or has acquired other companies.

There are several cases where CubeTree requires a user to verify they have current access to their email address. The first case is when the user first tries to join a CubeTree company instance.
The first case is when the user first tries to join a CubeTree company instance.
The second case is when a user (not administrator) disables another user’s account. In the basic and professional editions, if a user leaves the company, other users can disable his account. A user can re-enable his account if he still has access to his email. However, since most users have their email disabled the moment they leave their company, a user will be unable to re-enable their account if they have actually left. If they're still there, they can quickly correct the mistake.
The third case is when the CubeTree administrator turns on a feature that requires email authentication for each browser you use. Hosted enterprise products commonly have this feature, and the intent is to decrease the possibility that someone can gain access to your CubeTree account without first gaining access to your email account.

A common approach to tightening security around hosted products is for IT to have sites like CubeTree limit access to only the IP addresses from a company's outbound web gateways.

Many companies have "Password Policies" for all their IT systems, regardless of whether they are hosted or on-premises. CubeTree supports a wide variety of password rules.

While CubeTree provides a complete suite of collaboration tools, customers may sometimes only want to use a subset of these tools because they already have other tools which serve a similar purpose. CubeTree makes it easy for you to tell your users what the usage policy is for CubeTree, and enable or disable select features.
For customers using CubeTree’s Enterprise Edition, we provide several different ways to synchronize the list of active CubeTree users with your company's HR systems. When we receive an update, any new users will be provisioned, and any missing users will be disabled and unable to login.
In addition to user provisioning and deprovisioning, the user synchronization service can also be used to fill in aspects of a user’s profile such as their title, contact information, location and manager.
