Most corporate directories start with a very short list of user information: name, email, phone number, manager and location. With CubeTree, you can share much more.
Your Activities
Your profile page includes a list of all the activities you perform outside of private groups.
Your Content
Your profile includes all the content you're sharing with the organization --blog posts, documents, links, photos, polls, and wikis – in one location that everyone can access.
Your Connections
An enterprise social network is based on the idea of connecting people. With CubeTree, your connections are described in several ways:
An organizational view shows where you are in the org chart, and has support for multiple managers.
A location view shows whom you sit next, which often says something about whom you work with.
A tracking view show whom you're interested in keeping track of
And finally, a reverse tracking view shows who is keeping track of you.
Your Interests
The best way to tell what someone is interested in is to see what sorts of activities they're following on their "My Follows Feed" page. Your feed is composed of the activities of people you’re following, as well as groups and wiki pages that you find interesting. By making visible what people are following, you can quickly get a sense for how and where in the organization they're plugged in.
In addition to everything you follow, you can also choose to track selected terms. CubeTree’s Track capability will send you an email notification when that term is used.
