Position: Technical Evangelist
Description:
The Technical Evangelist is the primary external technical advocate for CubeTree. This person should be excited and capable of helping answer technical questions from customers and partners as well as helping them integrate CubeTree with their internal systems. You are a highly motivated self-starter who is excited about technology and can collaborate with technical, creative and business teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for architecting, designing, and developing enterprise integration solutions for key customers
- Work with the sales team to help establish and develop key customers by developing prototypes and demos integrating CubeTree technologies with existing platforms and technologies
- Serve as primary contributor in CubeTree developer forums
- Participate in developer technology forums, mailing lists, newsgroups, and developer blogospheres
- Recommend and develop integration standards, guidelines, sample code and best practices
Required Skills/Experience:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or similar technical degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7+ years work experience as a software engineer, architect, or technical consultant
- Strong technical background and application development experience ideally more than one of the following languages: Java, .NET, C, PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl in varied environments
- Proficiency in designing, architecting, and delivering technical solutions from database to presentation
- Quick study of new technologies and subjects.
- Working knowledge of common web standards and cloud based APIs and protocols (SOAP, REST, XML, etc.)
- Ability to motivate and work cooperatively with partners and internal teams, able to manage multiple opportunities, projects and priorities concurrently
- Strong analytical skills enabling comprehension and development of complex business and technical issues topics and plans
- Talented at explaining complex topics clearly and concisely, and effective at providing practical guidance
Desired:
- Ruby on Rails experience
- Experience with SAP ABAP, SAP BAPI, SAP Netweaver platform
- SaaS experience
